 The oc200 is specifically designed for printing on plastic single cards in ISO format 86 x 54 mm. One of the advantages of this Metronic machine is the rapid change of plates and the extremely economic manufacturing. This machine offers you the possibility of short run editions for really customized solutions, taking into account the individual wishes of your customers.
The basic construction principle of the oc200 is the modular way. Thus, four or more ink units can be combined with a primer or a varnish unit. Hence, printing and varnishing of the cards is possible in one single run. Simple handling and only little requirements of place are further characteristics of this machine. The feeding magazine may be filled by hand or exchanged within seconds by pre-filled magazines. An integrated photo sensor controls double card defects and stops the running machine. An exact and reproducible adjustment of the cards is thus achieved by micrometric elements. |

Offset printing system
The oc200 is based on the principle of waterless offset printing. The transmission of ink is effected by anilox rollers. This printing method guarantees an absolute even transmission of ink and also a very high and constant printing quality for the complete run. While printing, an additional adjustment of ink is no longer necessary. During the initial printing process, the amount of waste cards is limited to a minimum. The absolutely even transmission of ink and a registration unit before each printing station allows for the use of 1209/140/FM anilox rollers. This is yet another increase in quality. A constant quality within one run is achieved by watercooled plate cylinders.
Due to the simple construction of the oc200 and the final adjustment of the plate cylinder in stop position, the changing of the printing plates can be effected without any problems. It takes only 15 to 20 minutes to modify the motif by exchanging the four printing plates. Even for small editions of less than 1000 copies high flexibiltiy and economic operation is possible.
